Your role – the chance to make a difference
As part of one of our three teams, you will work on developing new features for customers and on resolving issues that enable further development of the Axxerion cloud application. Together with the product owner and software architect, you will analyse and design solutions that you implement, test, deliver and launch as part of our continuous development cycle.
What we are looking for
To be successful in this role, you must have good programming skills and a general interest in software development, as well as being a good programmer and loving the challenge of fixing bugs. You see the value of careful testing and continuous integration, and you adhere to agile principles.
- Several years of Java programming experience in a similar, multi-user/customer-facing application such as Axxerion
- A passion for software development
- Team player
- Good problem-solving ability
- University working and thinking level
- 5+ years of relevant experience in a similar role
- Experience with test frameworks
- Integration of REST-based web services, for example using Apache CFX or another JAX-RS-based framework
- Experience with Java Enterprise is an asset.
- Familiarity with the concepts behind web applications such as HTML5, Javascript (ES6+) and CSS 3
- Experience with cloud-based applications is a plus point.
- Familiarity with frameworks, such as Spring Boot, and container tools, such as Docker
- Experience with (My)SQL
- Continuous integration platforms, such as Jenkins
- Versioning and build tools, such as Git/Subversion and Maven
