Your role: you can make an impact

As Sales New Business you play a key role in continuing our successful growth. You do this by convincing prospects of our solutions, resulting in an increase in our customer base. You offer a high-quality, innovative SaaS solution that has a huge impact on organisations. These prospects are in a wide range of industries and building types (from corporate and landlords, from schools to healthcare facilities and more).

In addition, as Sales New Business you fulfill an essential role during the first year as a commercial point of contact for your own scored customers. You quickly establish a connection with people, understand business processes and can translate them into Spacewell solutions. This is a unique opportunity to use your technical and sales skills, such as networking, stakeholder management and direct sales, to make a successful contribution to our growth.

As Sales New Business you are part of our sales team and you report to the Sales Director Netherlands.

Your Responsibilities

  • Seeing and exploiting sales opportunities
  • Creating leads yourself (possibly in collaboration with marketing)
  • Convincing prospects of the added value of Spacewell’s solutions
  • Giving presentations and preparing quotes
  • Negotiating contracts and concluding agreements
  • Attend trade fairs and events

What we are looking for

Our mission as a PropTech company is to make buildings work harder for their users. Easier said than done. To be successful in this role you have at least 7 years of relevant experience with Sales New Business. Experience in software / SaaS / IoT sales is an advantage. You also enjoy working in a high tech environment and you are a self-starting, enthusiastic entrepreneurial team player with strong communication skills who gets energy from winning orders.

You have an HBO working and thinking level. You are fluent in Dutch, both spoken and written. You also master the English language. Having a network within our industry is a plus.
